Halifax Regional Police have seized drugs, cash and a gun after executing two separate search warrants.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, officers went to an apartment in the 200-block of Prince Arthur Avenue in Dartmouth. While searching the home, police found cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cash and a loaded handgun.

Two men, aged 29 and 30, were arrested and remanded into custody for the weekend.

The pair will appear in court on Monday to face a slew of charges including cultivation, trafficking a controlled substance and weapons-related offences.

About a half hour later, officers executed a search warrant in the 200-block of Nadia Drive in Dartmouth. There, police found cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at the home and will appear in court on Monday to face a charge of trafficking cocaine.
