FOXBORO, Mass. -- Rob Gronkowski didn't just help the New England Patriots out Saturday night. He also made some history himself.
The Patriots tight end scored a second touchdown midway through the third quarter of his team's AFC Divisional Playoff against the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium to put New England up 21-6. It was the eighth postseason receiving touchdown of Gronk's career, giving him the most all-time among tight ends and the most in Patriots history.
Quarterback Tom Brady made it possible with a nifty little pump fake, too.
Gronkowski scored his first touchdown of the game on the Patriots' first drive to give them an early 7-0 lead.
