FOXBORO, Mass. -- Don't be fooled by Danny Amendola's size: The New England Patriots wide receiver isn't afraid to throw his body around.
Amendola took things a bit too far in the second quarter of New England's AFC divisional round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, however.
Serving as the Patriots' punt returner, Amendola delivered a vicious hit on Chiefs special teamer Jameil Fleming in an attempt to prevent Fleming from downing the ball near New England's goal line.
The blow drew the ire of several Chiefs players, who created quite the scuffle in the end zone.

Amendola was flagged for an unnecessary roughing penalty that only cost the Patriots two yards since he committed the foul at his own 4-yard line.
Fleming didn't appear to be injured on the play, but the hit still was pretty dirty, especially after what Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict did to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown one week ago.
