Houston Astros hatFriday is National Hat Day, which probably doesn't mean anything to anyone, really, but whatever. That's not what we're here to discuss.

National Hat Day does, however, give us an excuse to talk about one of the coolest things in sports: the baseball cap.

There's no better time to look at some of the best hats in Major League Baseball today, as we've dug through all of the big league's current caps (emphasis on current; sorry, old-school gems) and came up with a list of some of the top lids in baseball. In order to keep people from getting too mad, the list doesn't follow any particular order, and of course, it's all arbitrary.

With that in mind, here are the best hats in baseball.
