BOSTON -- Rob Font put on a show in front of his hometown fans in Sunday night's UFC Fight Night Boston at TD Garden.
The North Reading, Mass., native earned a dominant TKO victory over New Hampshire-born Joey Gomez at 4:13 of the second round in their early preliminary card fight. Font won the first round, too, highlighted by this takedown.
In the second round, a hard left-handed punch stunned Gomez, and Font, sensing that his opponent was stunned, went in for the kill. He unleashed a few powerful combos, even throwing in some knee strikes. The referee was forced to stop the fight once Gomez was on the ground against the cage and taking several shots to the head area.

It was an impressive performance from Front that improves his overall record to 12-1. He's now 2-0-0 in his UFC career.
