Ken Griffey Jr. reacted to his call from the Baseball Writers Association of America informing him of his National Baseball Hall of Fame election like a man who already knew his fate.

Griffey, unsurprisingly, was among two players (Mike Piazza was the other) elected to the class of 2016. He also made history by receiving a record 99.32 percent of the vote. Just three voters left him off their ballot.

Upon hearing this historic feat, Griffey responded, "OK, now I'm a little nervous, now," as his family cheered in the background.
