Two of the Anaheim Ducks' most important players are having polar opposite seasons so far.
Corey Perry has 19 goals, five of which have come in his last seven games, and 12 assists, and teammate Ryan Getzlaf has racked up an impressive amount of assists, but he isn't producing the amount of goals his team needs from him.
"You look at (Getzlaf's) numbers: three goals, 26 assists, minus-1, he leads their team in ice time. You just need more production out of a guy like Ryan Getzlaf than that. Three goals with all that ice time, all the power-play time, that's just not going to get it done for the Ducks. And if they are to get into the playoffs, he needs to have much more production over the last piece of the season."
