The Boston Celtics will be looking to end a two-game losing streak on home court when they play host to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday as early 4-point betting favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Boston returns home for Wednesday night's Pistons vs. Celtics betting matchup at TD Garden following a 103-94 win in Brooklyn, earning the split in a home-and-home series with the Nets while picking up the against-the-spread win as 7.5-point chalk.

That victory improved the Celtics to 4-2 SU and ATS over their past six games, lifting their overall record to 19-15, good for a share of sixth place in the NBA's Eastern Conference alongside the Indiana Pacers. However, the club has battled consistency, both at home and at the sportsbooks.

Boston is an underwhelming 2-5 SU and 2-4-1 ATS in their past seven at TD Garden, and have alternated between lengthy ATS winning and losing streaks all season long, going 5-5 ATS over their past 10 games.

The Pistons have been one of the surprises in the early going of the NBA campaign, amassing a 19-16 record to remain in the playoff hunt in the East, and are coming off a 115-89 victory over Orlando on Monday night but struggled over the holidays, going 2-4 SU in their past six, ending a strong 9-3 SU run.

Detroit is winless in their last three on the road, losing by double digits in their past two, and are also winless in their last three as betting underdogs according to the OddsShark NBA Database.

However, the Pistons have enjoyed some success in recent meetings with Boston, alternating between SU wins and losses over their past eight, splitting a pair of games in Detroit last month, and posting a 105-97 win in their most recent visit to Boston last March as 5.5-point road underdogs.

Following Wednesday's date with the Pistons, the Celtics travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls in their third game in four nights, before moving on to Memphis to face the Grizzlies on Sunday.

It will be the second meeting of the season between the Bulls and Celtics, with Boston picking up a 105-100 home win last month as 3.5-point chalk. However, it has been over five years since the Celtics tallied back-to-back wins over Chicago, going 5-13 SU in 18 games since, including just two SU wins in 10 road contests, 3-7 ATS.

The Celtics topped the Grizzlies last March in their most recent meeting, a 95-92 victory as 6.5-point home underdogs, ending a five-game SU losing skid against Memphis.
