The Boston Bruins are right in the thick of things in the NHL's Eastern Conference playoff hunt, but their recent struggles at home have complicated things.
The Bruins are 2-5-0 with a minus-7 goal differential in their last seven games at TD Garden, and their overall road record is much better than their home one this season.
"It's disappointing," NESN's Billy Jaffe said on "Big Bad Bruins Live" before Boston hosted the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday. "And at times it's discouraging because here's a team you think is getting to that proverbial hump and getting over it regularly, and then they don't -- they don't completely get over it."
