Abby Wambach is set to say "goodbye" to soccer -- a sport she has dominated for over a decade.
Wambach, 35, is expected to feature for the United States women's national soccer team when it takes on China on Wednesday at The Superdome in New Orleans. Wambach will play her 252nd, and final, game for Team USA before retiring as international soccer's all-time leading goal scorer with at least 184.
USA-China is the last game of the "Victory Tour," which celebrates Team USA's triumph at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. The world championship crowned Wambach's glittering career, and she'll walk away from the sport as one of it's all-time greats.
When: Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m. ET
