The Buffalo Sabres still are near the bottom of the NHL's Atlantic Division, but they have been playing better hockey of late.

In their last 12 games, the Sabres have posted a 6-4-2 record. They have scored 2.75 goals per game and have allowed 2.25 goals per game during that stretch. They face a touch test against the surging Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Saturday night, though.
