Tom Brady could use another target to throw to, and he reportedly will have one.

Danny Amendola, who missed the New England Patriots' loss to the Denver Broncos last week with a knee injury, is expected to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to multiple reports.

Amendola's return, especially with Rob Gronkowski (knee) and Julian Edelman (foot) already ruled out, would be huge for the Patriots. Amendola ranks third on the team with 49 catches for 520 yards and two touchdowns.

Amendola's official status likely won't be announced until 3 p.m. ET, when the Patriots release inactives for the game.
