The NBA suspended Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes two games without pay Monday for an altercation with New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher earlier this year, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Barnes reportedly drove 90 miles to confront Fisher in October, his former teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers, when he learned that Fisher was with Barnes' estranged wife, Gloria Govan, at the home the two previously both lived in.
Fisher reportedly had been dating Govan, and was in town visiting both her and Fisher's children when Barnes arrived and allegedly attacked and threatened Fisher.
Barnes is expected to begin his suspension without an appeal on Tuesday night when the Grizzlies play the Miami Heat, according to Wojnarowski.
Govan is a former reality star on VH1's "Basketball Wives."
