Boston Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs was honored Thursday night with the Lester Patrick Trophy at the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Jacobs received the award for his outstanding service to hockey in the United States.
"It's a tremendous honor, and it's humbling because you're looking at the way, the expression of how other people perceive you," Jacobs told NESN's Adam Pellerin on "Bruins Face-Off Live" before Boston played the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night. "And I never anticipated that. It was right of the blue. ... The inclusion is really flattering."
You can hear more from Jacobs in the video above.
