Two of the best penalty kill units in the NHL this season will face off Tuesday at TD Garden.

The St. Louis Blues are 87.3 percent on the penalty kill, and the Boston Bruins aren't far behind at 81.2 percent.

"This is one of those hockey games that you don't want to make specialty teams if you're the Bruins," NESN's Barry Pederson said on "Bruins Face-Off" before Tuesday's game. "You want to make this a 5-on-5 hockey game. St. Louis not only has good penalty killing, but the last couple of years they've had an excellent power play.

The Bruins need to stay out of the box and make it a 5-on-5 hockey game so they can control the pace."
