Tensions were high early in Saturday's Big 12 regular-season finale between No. 12 Baylor and Texas.

Baylor quarterback Lynx Hawthorne threw a first-quarter interception and made the tackle, but he threw the Texas defensive back down to the turf even after the referees blew the play dead. Some players on the Texas sideline weren't happy about it and knocked down Hawthorne, which prompted the Baylor players to leave their sideline and join the madness.

Fortunately, it didn't take long for coaches and referees to calm down the players. An unsportsmanlike conduct flag on Texas was the only penalty resulting from the brawl, and no players were ejected.

Texas led 20-0 at the half.
