Sunday's loss was probably a gut-punch for Eli Manning and the New York Giants.
Despite passing for 361 yards and two touchdowns, Manning's Giants were defeated by the New England Patriots, 27-26. Pats QB Tom Brady led the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, passing for 193 yards in the final frame alone.
Actually, gut-punch probably isn't the right word. If anything, the Giants probably felt like they got kicked in the neck, a la Ronda Rousey after Saturday night's shocking UFC 193 knockout by Holly Holm.
One fan was quick to make the comparison, cropping Brady's head onto Holm's body (and, of course, Manning's on to Rousey's).
While Patriots fans certainly will enjoy that video, maybe it should have been Stephen Gostkowski's head cropped into the video instead of Brady's. After all, he did drill the game-winning, 54-yard field goal.
