Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom led the league in goals and assists, respectively, last season. But beyond that veteran pair, the Washington Capitals didn't have much help lighting the lamp.

Enter T.J. Oshie and Justin Williams, who have stepped right in to aid the cause. Oshie provides a power forward mentality and already has contributed eight points, while Justin Williams brings a championship pedigree over from the Los Angeles Kings and has chipped in with nine points.

Additionally, youngster Evgeny Kuznetsov is pacing well above his rookie production in Year 2 and is tied for first on the team in scoring with Ovechkin at 13 points.
