Sandy Alderson has seen better days.

The New York Mets general manager collapsed Wednesday morning while speaking with reporters following the announcement of manager Terry Collins' two-year contract extension. Fortunately, Alderson returned to his feet moments later and appears to be OK, according to reports.

It's been an interesting few days for Alderson, whose Mets lost the World Series in five games to the Kansas City Royals. It sounds like Wednesday's episode was a minor speed bump, though, as the 67-year-old, who fainted mid-response, even offered to answer more questions.
