Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott didn't hide his disgust following the Buckeyes' shocking 17-14 loss to No. 9 Michigan State on Saturday.

The Heisman Trophy candidate called out his coaches for only getting 12 carries.

"We weren't put in the right situation to win this game," Elliott said, according to USA Today. "I deserve more than (12) carries. I really do. I can't speak for the play-caller. I don't know what was going on."

He added: "We should have run more power. We stopped calling plays that worked. Disappointed by lack of effort from coaches ... coaching staff didn't put us in position to win. That's a team (Michigan State) we should beat."

Wow. Those are some strong words from Elliot and, believe it or not, he wasn't done.

The junior has one more season of eligibility remaining, but don't expect him to return after he said this:

"Honestly, that was my last game at the Shoe," Elliot said. "There's no chance I'm coming back next year."

And tweeted this:

He wasn't the only Ohio State player who alluded to his future Saturday. Quarterback Cardale Jones, who led the Buckeyes to the 2014 national championship, has shared time with a healthy J.T. Barrett this season. But you probably shouldn't expect that to continue next year following this tweet:

Chaos. Absolute chaos in Columbus.
