Sunday's game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets got off to a fast and physical start, and the trash talk continued off the field.

Early in the first quarter, Jets' safety Calvin Pryor delivered a crushing blow to Dolphins wide receiver Rishard Matthews. The legal hit set the tone for both teams' afternoons.

After the play, Pryor proceeded to celebrate and pump up the crowd while Matthews was being attended to by the trainers.

Matthews never returned to the game, but Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a few choice words for Pryor in his post-game press conference.

"That's kind of a classless move to celebrate when a guy is injured." Tannehill said via the NFL's Gregg Rosenthal. "Obviously, it was a good hit, a clean hit. But to celebrate when a guy is down is a classless move."

Pryor didn't go without jabbing back at the four-year veteran. He took to Twitter and told Tannehill to "throw a better ball."

As one team looks to make a playoff push, the other may want to start to consider its options for next season.
