New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola left Monday's game versus the Buffalo Bills with a knee injury.

Amendola appeared to get hurt on a punt return, but grabbed at his leg without being touched.

He left the game, and his status to return is in question.

Patriots fans likely will be especially concerned after watching running back Dion Lewis go down with a torn ACL in similar fashion earlier this season.

New England wide out Aaron Dobson already left Monday's game with an ankle injury and will not return. Fellow wide out Keshawn Martin was declared inactive with a hamstring injury before Monday's game and No. 1 receiver Julian Edelman broke his foot In Week 10 versus the New York Giants.

Brandon LaFell becomes New England's No. 1 receiver for the remainder of the game, while Chris Harper steps into the No. 2 role.

Amendola had nine catches for 117 yards before leaving, but was on the wrong end of a terrible inadvertent whistle blown by the officials.
