And then there was one.

The New England Patriots entered Sunday night's clash with the Denver Broncos with a perfect 10-0 record, the only team outside the 11-0 Carolina Panthers that had yet to lose a game this season.

The Broncos gave the Patriots all they could handle, though. New England needed a Stephen Gostkowski field goal at the end of regulation to force overtime, and after Denver's defense stopped Tom Brady and Co. to start the extra period, running back C.J. Anderson delivered the dagger with a 48-yard touchdown run.

Anderson's sprint down the left sideline gave the Broncos a 30-24 win, moving them to 9-2 on the season. It also capped a phenomenal night for the Broncos running back. Anderson finished the game with 113 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 15 carries and also hauled in four catches for 40 yards.
