BOSTON -- Matt Beleskey's first fight as a member of the Bruins was a blink-and-you'd-miss-it affair.
Just seconds after Brad Marchand scored to open the scoring Thursday night, Beleskey took exception to a slash from Minnesota Wild winger Brett Bulmer. So, the two parties squared in a fight that, from glove drop to referee intervention, lasted about seven seconds.
Beleskey was the clear winner.
The bout was not only Beleskey's first of the season, but also the first by a Bruins player not named Kevan Miller, Tyler Randell or Adam McQuaid -- the team's three resident fighters.
