The Black and Gold have been a bit green this season, and it's probably cost the team a few points in the standings.
With so many or inexperienced players on the NHL roster, the Boston Bruins have certainly hit their fair share of road blocks. There are currently 10 players on the active roster with less than three full seasons of NHL experience on the roster, with five of those players receiving regular minutes on the blue line.
The development of these players arguably is the most important measurable for the franchise, but they'll have to do so in the heat of a season-long battle for playoff position after Boston missed the postseason in 2014-15 for the first time since 2007.
