Peyton Manning isn't healthy, but if and when he gets back to full health, the Denver Broncos might be looking at a rather complicated situation.

The NFL announced Wednesday that Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler won AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in his first career start in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. The Broncos backup stepped in for the injured Manning and completed 20 of 27 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns in Denver's 17-15 win over Chicago.

Osweiler will get a chance to defend his crown, so to speak, as he's already been tabbed the starter for the Broncos' Sunday night showdown with the New England Patriots. The 25-year-old figures to get at least two more chances, as Denver head coach Gary Kubiak announced Tuesday that Manning will miss a couple more weeks with multiple injuries, most notably a foot injury.

What happens when Manning is healthy enough to play again will be real interesting to watch. The 39-year-old Manning is in the midst of the worst season of his career. In Week 10 against Kansas City Chiefs, he completed just five of 20 passes and threw four interceptions before being benched in favor of Osweiler.
