BOSTON -- The Celtics' fourth-quarter comeback against the San Antonio Spurs ultimately fell short, but it did produce a pretty epic highlight.

Boston trailed the Spurs by seven late in the fourth quarter at TD Garden on Sunday when guard Avery Bradley drove past Kawhi Leonard and unleashed a huge slam dunk out of nowhere.

Spurs big man LaMarcus Aldridge made a halfhearted attempt to block Bradley, but that obviously didn't go too well.

Bradley's highlight-reel slam brought the C's to within five, but San Antonio held on for a 95-87 win.

Bradley led all Celtics scorers with 18 points, and while the 6-foot-2 guard is known more for his stifling defense than for his thunderous dunks, count Isaiah Thomas as one of the Celtics who wasn't surprised by his teammate's impressive display of athleticism.

"I get mad at him when he goes in there and lays it up because of what he's capable of doing," Thomas said after the game. "Plays like that, he's capable of doing all the time."
