Jackie Bradley Jr. has a new spot in the Boston Red Sox's lineup.

The Red Sox center fielder will bat second for Boston against the New York Yankees on Thursday. The Red Sox needed to make some changes with Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz out of the lineup, and this was one of them.

"I just want to see how it looks," interim manager Torey Lovullo said on "Red Sox First Pitch" before Thursday's game. "Dustin had the day off ... there were several candidates as I was thinking about it this morning putting the lineup together that could hit there."
