The Royals set a new record for runs scored in the top of the first inning of an American League Championship Series game with four during their Game 4 matchup with the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. Ben Zobrist kicked off the scoring with a two-run home run off of Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey. Lorenzo Cain scored the next run when he slid in safely at home after a passed ball, and Mike Moustakas sealed the historic feat with a sacrifice fly. Dickey gave up another run -- a solo homer to Alex Rios -- before he was pulled after just 1 2/3 innings.
