The honors recently continued for NHL legend Ray Bourque at Endicott College.
The Hockey Hall of Famer was honored by Endicott College with the dedication of Raymond J. Bourque Arena in Beverly, Mass. The project was announced in May of 2014, and the process came to completion earlier this week with a formal dedication, including the unveiling of the Bourque signage.
The new arena coincides with Endicott's men's and women's ice hockey teams being going to Division III varsity status.
Bourque, who was honored also for his work as a North Shore community activist, spoke at the dedication ceremony. See what he said above.
