9:25 a.m.: The injuries are starting to pile up for many teams through six weeks of the NFL season. But there is some good news on the injury front heading into this Sunday.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. is expected to play this week despite a back injury that had listed him as questionable, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Smith sat out in a Week 5 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills are planning to start quarterback E.J. Manuel ahead of Tyrod Taylor, who has a knee injury, according to Schefter.
There figures to be plenty more injury news throughout the day, so keep it here for the latest updates.
