You remember those Arizona State University sorority girls who were mocked because of their love of selfies at an Arizona Diamondbacks game? Well, you might want to lay off the jokes.
The ladies of Alpha Chi Omega received instant stardom when they were caught taking millions of selfies at Chase Field during Fox Sports' broadcast of Wednesday's Diamondbacks-Colorado Rockies game. People on social media had a field day with the incident, and so did the broadcasters.
Fox Sports offered the sorority crew free tickets to Thursday's game, but the girls declined the offer. Instead, they wrote a Facebook post asking for the tickets to be donated to charity. You can check out the full post here.
See, selfies are not destroying the world ... yet.
