For the first time in his life, Max Pacioretty is a captain, and he's certainly earned it.
The Canadiens left winger is a key offensive player for Montreal, as he has scored at least 60 points in three of the last four seasons. That means it will be key for the Boston Bruins to find him on defense when the two teams play Saturday.
"What Max Pacioretty does so well is he anticipates the play," NESN's Bill Jaffe said on "Bruins Face-Off Live" before Saturday's game. "He also happens to have a really good defenseman in P.K. Subban to get him the puck."
