The Boston Bruins traded Smith and Marc Savard to the Florida Panthers for Hayes during the offseason, which appears to have worked out well for both squads so far. "So far you would say it's probably been a fairly even trade, although I'm sure Jimmy Hayes would prefer to get that minus-2 turned around," NESN's Dale Arnold said on "Bruins Face-Off Live" before Boston faced Florida on Friday.
