Hosmer McDonnell 3Eric Hosmer is having quite the year.

The Royals first baseman was a part of Kansas City's magical run to the 2014 World Series, and he has a chance to do it again this season.

But he isn't just having success on the field. Hosmer is dating well-known reporter Kacie McDonnell, and the two of them are making a bid for the next sports power couple.

McDonnell made a name for herself in Philadelphia where she worked as a sideline reporter for the Eagles. Sports fans may also know her from her previous relationship with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Aaron Murray.

But she is settling in nicely in Kansas City as a traffic reporter and the host of Sporting Kansas City's pregame and postgame shows. And she has had quite the year, too.
