If you're anything like David Ortiz, watching the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets battle it out in the World Series has you amped for next season to begin.

Unlike you, however, Ortiz is actually in a position to do something about that excitement.

The regular season ended less than a month ago, but the Boston Red Sox slugger is already back in the gym. He tweeted out a photo on Thursday of himself pumping iron in anticipation of getting back on the field -- in about three months.
