A group of Indianapolis Colts fans are about to do something really dumb -- perhaps wasting a lot of money in the process -- in the hopes of rattling quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Good luck with that.

A reader recently sent Barstool Sports an email relaying a separate email stating that Colts fans plan to fly a blimp over Lucas Oil Stadium next Sunday when New England and Indianapolis square off in a Week 6 rematch of last season's AFC Championship Game.

The blimp apparently will display the message, #DeflateThisBrady, a clear play on the Patriots' Deflategate scandal.

There's even a video to accompany the sad excuse of a movement.

So, let's ignore that the Patriots have defeated the Colts in the teams' last six head-to-head matchups.

Let's ignore that the Pats have hung at least 42 points on the Colts each of the last four times they've played, and that New England has outscored Indianapolis 189-73 in those games.

And let's also ignore that Brady's four-game suspension related to Deflategate was vacated last month in federal court.

Because if we ignore those things, it'll at least make this attempt -- to be fair, not all Colts fans are onboard with the idea -- to taunt Brady and the Patriots seem far less stupid.

OK, maybe not. *Head shake*
