Even though the Boston Bruins allowed the Tampa Bay Lightning to catch up at the end of the first period of their game Monday, the Bruins' top line got plenty of work done before that.
Loui Eriksson, Patrice Bergeron and Brett Connolly worked in perfect harmony early in the first period, moving the puck as though they all knew what their teammates were thinking. The B's were able to get two goals on the board -- including one from Eriksson -- by the halfway point of the opening frame.
