The Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals engaged in four separate fights during their preseason meeting Friday night. And then they fought some more.

Following a 15-second span in the third period that featured a pair of bouts, Bruins defensemen Adam McQuaid and Kevan Miller and Capitals forwards Tom Wilson and Liam O'Brien continued to hurl obscenities at one another from their respective penalty boxes.

Meanwhile, David Pastrnak, who was in the box to serve an instigator penalty called on McQuaid, was content with observing from afar.

The Bruins went on to lose 2-1 in a shootout to close out their preseason slate.
