The Indianapolis Colts have a relatively easy Week 4 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but beating the struggling AFC South team would become much more difficult without starting quarterback Andrew Luck.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday, via his Facebook page, that Luck is "legitimately questionable" for Week 4. He also writes that "another factor in the Colts' decision will be that they will play again Thursday night against the Texans."

Luck is dealing with a shoulder injury.

The Colts are 1-2 and their season is far from over despite underwhelming performances from the offensive line, the entire defense and Luck himself. The division also is terrible, with the Colts, Jaguars, Texans and Tennessee Titans all 1-2 through three weeks. Luck could sit and the Colts could lose and they'd still have a great chance to win the division.

If Luck isn't able to play Sunday, backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will have to fill the void. The 40-year-old veteran last played in Week 17 of last season, when he completed 13 of 19 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown against the 2-14 Titans.

From a fantasy football perspective, Luck's absence from the lineup would make Colts receivers Donte Moncrief and T.Y. Hilton unplayable in most leagues. Veteran running back Frank Gore is a smart start regardless of Luck's status for Week 4.
