Barcelona's defense of its UEFA Champions League crown resumes Wednesday at Camp Nou with a matchup against talented Bundesliga (German first division) side Bayer Leverkusen.

The Spanish club will be without the services of Lionel Messi, who's widely considered as the best player i the world. Messi recently suffered a knee injury and could be out of the Barcelona lineup for as much two months.
