David Ortiz may be chasing history, but that doesn't mean he will play every game for the rest of the season.
Boston Red Sox interim manager Torey Lovullo has to figure out when to play Big Papi and when to give him a night off. Lovullo expects Ortiz to play two of the three games this weekend against the Tampa Bay Rays.
"He is chasing something that's pretty special and we're all caught up in that moment," Lovullo said on "Red Sox First Pitch" before Friday's game. "Sometimes I need to pull back and not get caught up so much in it."
