Bill O'Donnell might have had the best job ever.

O'Donnell, who the Boston Red Sox honored for his 80th birthday Monday at their game against the Toronto Blue Jays, used to be Ted Williams' bat boy. He was back on the field at Fenway Park for the first time in 60 years, and he had fond memories of his old job.

"The greatest thing in the world," O'Donnell told NESN's Guerin Austin before the game. "You come to work every day, you're two feet off the ground. Then for a while you work the visiting clubhouse and you've got Al Rosen, Larry Doby and a lot of good other ball players. Mickey Mantle, Hank Bauer ... good memories."
