There's less than a week left in the MLB regular season, but that doesn't mean the American League playoff picture is settled.
The Boston Red Sox have a chance to impact the race, too, as they face the New York Yankees this week. New York currently holds the first wild card spot by 3 1/2 games.
"The Yankees feel like they're going to slide right into it because they've been holding this lead for a long, long time," NESN's Dennis Eckesley said on "Red Sox First Pitch" before Tuesday's game. "But everyone else is playing playoff baseball."
