He had one job.

Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Rios blasted a solo home run in the fifth inning of Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. Everything was pretty normal -- and quiet -- until he rounded second base and a bevvy of fireworks were set off.

As you could see, the poor guy was completely devastated by the error -- and the storm of incredibly loud boos from what looked like a relatively empty ballpark.

But, for the rest of us, it provides a pretty hilarious microcosm of Cleveland sports as a whole.
