Will Hawaii lose to Ohio State by five touchdowns this Saturday? Maybe. But it'll look darn good doing so.
Norm Chow's players will put the "rainbow" back in Rainbow Warriors when they take the field in Columbus wearing some of the most glorious throwback uniforms these eyes have ever seen.
Hawaii, which typically suits up in green, black and white, debuted a similar alternate uni set two years ago, though that featured a green jersey rather than a white one.
The Rainbow Warriors won just four games last season and have not posted a winning record since 2010, but they did knock off Colorado last weekend in their season opener. Ohio State, meanwhile, began its national title defense Monday by routing Virginia Tech 42-24 in Blacksburg.
