The Players' Tribune's "What the (Blank)?" segment is awesome.
The whole website founded by Derek Jeter is awesome, really, but "What the (Blank)?" asks participating athletes to answer 10 questions about themselves so readers can learn more about them. David Ortiz's handwritten responses were published Wednesday, and they're pretty entertaining.
The Boston Red Sox slugger's most interesting answer perhaps is his response to what his dream job would be if he wasn't a professional athlete. Ortiz replied, "porn star."
We imagine Ortiz is joking, seeing as how it's his nature to mess around and have fun with such things. But it's a hilarious and unexpected twist on the segment, nevertheless.
Ortiz also said he hopes Red Sox manager John Farrell never retires. Farrell, of course, is sidelined for the remainder of this season while battling lymphoma.
And Big Papi revealed that Craig Breslow is the smartest athlete he's ever met, which makes sense since the Red Sox reliever graduated from Yale with a degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry.
All of Ortiz's handwritten responses can be seen below.
