Eduardo Rodriguez was a tough-luck loser Monday night, as the Boston Red Sox weren't able to give the rookie any run support in their 2-0 loss to the Baltimore Orioles.

But that doesn't mean his future looks any worse -- at least not if you ask David Ortiz.

The Red Sox's slugger, who recently hit his 500th home run and is bound for the Hall of Fame, talked about Rodriguez's performance on the mound, saying that the youngster is "going to be great" and has a bright future ahead of him.
