If training camp marks the start of football season, then rookie camp can mark the beginning of hockey season. The Boston Bruins are back.

Bruins rookie camp opens Thursday, with several young hopefuls vying to impress their NHL coaches and, potentially, earn a roster spot.

Among those hopefuls? Boston's three first-round draft selections from this June's NHL Draft -- Jakub Zboril, Jake DeBrusk and Zach Senyshyn -- as well as NCAA Frozen Four champion Noel Acciari and college hockey's best goalie last season, Zane McIntyre.

But what can we expect from the group of youngsters? NESN's Billy Jaffe and Barry Pederson broke it down on NESN's "Bruins Summer Faceoff Live" on Wednesday. Check it all out in the video above.
