The Boston Red Sox will be without a number of their regulars when they take the field Saturday afternoon at Citi Field.

David Ortiz, Hanley Ramirez and Rusney Castillo all were left out of the starting lineup Boston's visit to the New York Mets.

Ortiz (heel) and Ramirez (shoulder) both are dealing with injuries, but Castillo's absence is a bit surprising. Instead, Alejandro De Aza will get the nod and start in left field. De Aza has not started a game since Aug. 19 and has logged just one at-bat since then, striking out as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning of Friday's 6-4 win over the Mets.

Travis Shaw, who entered Friday's game as an injury replacement for Ortiz, will start at first base and bat cleanup against Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom.
